About the Northeast Junior Triathlon Series

 

Junior Talent ID Races provide a gateway into the sport of triathlon and a starting point for youth and junior athletes to enter an organized race series format.  Participants experience triathlon in its traditional, non-drafting format, officiated using USA Triathlon Rules. 

 

These sprint-distance races have been selected because of their “junior-friendly” atmosphere and age-appropriate courses. There is no requirement to qualify and athletes of all abilities are welcome (subject to race director discretion). TAF Racing, the Nutmeg Youth Triathlon Team, and the Barracuda Junior Team are part of this endeavor to bring an organized junior series back to the Northeast!

 

It is not expected that athletes race all of the events listed. The athletes should enjoy the event and getting to know others their own age that share the same enjoyment of multisport.
